This is a nice & cute statement, but not true. A lot of times we hear something & base our truths on that. But we need to look at what the Bible says about it & live by that.

Fear is one thing that grips many people today. Fear is a bondage & Go does not want His people to be in bondage. He wants us to be free to walk with HIm unhindered.

Lets look at some people in the Bible who experienced real events.

Numbers 13 The children of Israel were getting ready to go over to the Land of promise. Moses sent out 12 men to spy out the Land. After 40 days they returned with a report.

They started the report by telling them what they saw. They said, “surely it flows with milk & honey, BUT…, there are giants in the land & they are stronger than us.” They even said there are giants & we were in our own sight as grasshoppers & so we were in their sight.

So if we think as the so called phrase “False Evidence Appearing Real” we would act as if there were not giants in the land. It is true & real that there were giants in the land and that they were strong. We act as though we don’t have an enemy. Don’t acknowledge that enemy, because if you do then you don’t have faith. If you say it then it will happen. We DO have an enemy & he goes around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devourer. So how do we look at this? First of all the spies should not have been sent out. God already told them that He promised them this land. The Land flowing with milk & honey. So no matter what word the spies came back with this land was to be theirs & that is what they should have acted on. There were 2 of the spies that said “for we are well able to overcome it”. These are the words of faith. Why were they well able, because the Lord was with them. We must believe Gods promises, not by denying that the enemy exists, but by believing what God has said & by looking to him for the strength. “Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.”

So when we say “False Evidence” that is not true. The evidence may show us the enemy, BUT GOD… we must remember what God has said & what He has promised & believe & act on that. The children of Israel saw the enemy, fear came & they aced on that then on what God had said.

Ex 14 was another time Israel greatly feared. They were coming out of Egypt. God told them to camp by the sea. He set them in a place where the enemy thought they had them cornered. BUT GOD said he would harden Pharaoh’s heart, so he could show the children of Israel that He had glory & honor over Pharaoh & all his host. Also, to show the Egyptians that HE IS LORD.

Pharaoh brought all the chosen chariots to pursue the Israelites. When the Israelites saw (looked up) they were so afraid (they were exceedingly frightened). Was the evidence of the enemy real? Was what they saw real? Yes. It is not the fact that what we see or hear is not true, it is what has the Lord said & promised. Vs 13 Moses reminded them how to see the situation. “Fear not” (stop fearing) stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) & see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, & you shall hold your peace & remain at rest. Then the Lord told them to “GO FORWARD”. He had a plan of escape for them. He would deliver them. He would bring them through. The Lord moved between the Israelites & the enemy. The real facts were the enemy was after them. They could see that. But the truth is the Lord was with them. He would fight for them. He would go between them & their enemy. He would cause the enemy to flee. That is what the truth is. You can not just deny the evidence, BUT you rely on the truth that God WILL fight your battles & defeat the enemy.

Lets do as David did in Psalms 27:1-14

The Lord is my light & my salvation WHOM shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the refuge & stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even my enemies & my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled & fell. Though a host, encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; thought war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident. VS 5 For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter, in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. vs 13-14 [what, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! Wait & hope for & expect the Lord; be brave & of good courage & let you heart be stout & enduring. Yes, wait for & hope for & expect the Lord.

Lets believe, wait, and look to the LORD.

Today you might be facing an enemy of sickness and you have fear. Some might tell you to say you are not the sick, you are the healed. They might tell you not to even mention the fact that you don’t feel good. (that is just FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL) Try tell that to a person who has cancer. One who has suffered so much that it is not real. We must look at the truth, not a cute little saying. The evidence is real. It is not that we are to deny the evidence & pretend that it is not there, we must look at what the word of God says and believe that. What does the bible say about healing and sickness. Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.  1 Peter 2:24 “by Whose stripes you were healed.” Psalms 107:20 “He sent His word, & healed…” Ex 15:26 “I am the Lord that healeth thee.” Ps 103:2,3 who healeth ALL my diseases…  There are many scriptures that talk about healing. If there were not sick people (because we believe that it is false evidence) then why are there so many scriptures that talk about people needing healing?

We must not base our life and our beliefs on sayings that people make up. The fact is that the evidence is real, BUT, we must believe what the word says about that evidence. So when things come up, we must go to the word and see what God says about it. He has the final say. We must believe in what He has said. We look to Him for deliverance, for healing, for every need and trouble we face. We are over comers because of what Jesus did, we are healed because what Jesus did. Look to Him!!! Do not look to the evidence. Do not deny the evidence, just do let it stay, due to what the word says. DO NOT FEAR, ONLY BELIEVE!!!
